Internet Commerce Solution IBIS

SYSTEM FUNCTIONALITY

IBIS Internet commerce solution is designed for servicing card transactions on the Internet. The system fully meets requirements and specifications of the international payment organizations VISA and MasterCard, and has been certified at both of the said organizations.

Differences from previously used system:

  • Support to 3DS functionality
  • improved integration with authorization system
  • higher service availability and security
  • Support to multiple e-commerce merchants;
  • Customized payment page for each merchant;
  • Communication with e-commerce merchant agent using SSL channel;
  • Verification of e-commerce store's IP address;
IBIS merchant agent is a module, which the merchant integrates into its e-commerce store. The following types of transactions are available using merchant agent:

  • Purchase
  • Returned transaction
  • Business day closing

PURCHASE SEQUENCE

A purchase by IBIS solution shall be made in the following sequence:

The client has made a selection of products and is ready to pay for the purchase. After clicking on button/link "checkout" the control is handed over to the merchant's solution.

The merchant performs registration of transaction at IBIS system (specifying the amount, currency, client's IP address, and a brief description of transaction), and receiving transaction identifier as a reply .

The client (having specified transaction identifier) is transferred to IBIS payment server to enter card data. The entry takes place using form template supplied by the merchant.

After entering card data, client's authentication takes place within the 3D Secure, the result of which is announced to IBIS system.

In case of successful 3D Secure authentication, a transaction is made.

The client is transferred back to the merchant (having specified transaction identifier).

By means of the received transaction identifier the merchant obtains information from ECOMM on transaction result (success or failure).

If necessary, the merchant may request the IBIS payment server to make a returned transaction.

The merchant shall regularly (on a daily basis) send business day closing request to IBIS server.

IMPLEMENTATION

In order for you to be able to use the Internet for selling your products, it is necessary:
To conclude agreement with Bank on acceptance of cards on the Internet and opening a current account (if there is not one yet).

To pay for IBIS client package - the payment includes: connection to IBIS server - 200 LVL (one-time), subscription fee - 10 LVL (on a monthly basis), transaction processing - % of turnover (set by the bank)
Following the Bank's order, to receive software and instructions from First Data in order to integrate the Website into trading system.

On the Website, to indicate types of cards that can be used for settlements. Currently, for international payments the following cards are used - all VISA, VISA Electron, EC/MC, Maestro cards.
