Risk control

To reduce the number of card frauds and the consequent losses incurred by banks, merchants and card users, subsidiary First Data International in Latvia has acquired the software RMS (Risk Management System), which allows identifying fraudulent transactions and merchants.

Since we consider the risk control to be a very important issue in relation to the cooperation between First Data International and banks, and in compliance with the regulations of international organisations, we have developed a cooperation scheme with acquirer banks, which will allow combating frauds more efficiently.

RMS is a risk monitoring product, which has been developed by the company Tieto Enator and certified by VISA, and it complies also with the requirements of MasterCard.
