To my mind, a payment card is necessary for modern people to the same extent as a mobile phone is. At least I cannot imagine myself without these things that ease up our modern life. I’ve realised that a card is the safest and simplest way of keeping money, and not only once I’ve made myself sure on that.
It has happened that my wallet with a significant amount of cash in it has been stolen. But in reality, the thief gained only a couple of coins and some plastic cards the thief was unable to use.
It is better to spend two lats to renew a card than to carry cash with me and worry whether I will safely get to the end station of public transport. Therefore, I am a totally convinced card user and it will be hard to convince me on the contrary in the nearest time.
